 Fennec Fox Dessert animals:

Fennec foxes live in dessert or mostly found in Sahara dessert.They have especially large ears which help them adapt in their environment.

Large years:

Their ears release heat and listen for their prey. Their fur traps heat at night to survive cold and it can survive without water for long time.


 Food chain:

They eat insects,grasshoppers,locusts,rodents,rats,lizards,fruits (Cherries and cranberries),birds and their eggs,Vegetables (broccoli). Animals like eagle-owl,jackals and other large mammals.

 Also kept as pets:

Fennec foxes are kept as pets as they are cuddly,cute fury, little animals. While they are extremely loved, they do not enjoy much being cuddled and prefer being left alone.In cases, when they are scared or nervous ,often happen to bite. They are the best exotic pets.

Life time:

Fennec foxes can live up to maximum of 11 years.

Vocals:

They can make all types of noises including screeching,cooing and howling.They can be very loud when scared.

Jump:

They can jump in air up to two feet and can leap distance of 4feet.


Night vision:

They can see very well in dark.

Scientific name:

Their scientific name is Vulpes Zarda.

Short animals: 

A mature fox can grow upto height of 14 to 16 inches.
